Web Certified Editor (WCE) for the WordPress® Platform
The purpose of this exam is to assess individuals' proficiency in using WordPress®, particularly in creating and editing posts and pages on real websites. Candidates are expected to have a strong foundation in managing Posts, Pages, Comments, and the Media Library, as well as using the post and page builder and editing CSS and HTML code for posts or pages.
Individuals must have at least 150 hours of combined training and hands-on experience in WordPress® usage before taking the exam. Earning the certification demonstrates that the candidate possesses industry-standard competence and is ready to enter the job market. The certification can also serve as a valuable tool for hiring managers when evaluating job applications, helping to justify hiring decisions and determine the candidate's place within the company.
The exam consists of 35 questions and lasts 45 minutes.
Web Certified Developer (WCD) for the WordPress® Platform
This certification exam is designed for newcomers and emerging developers in the IT sector who want to specialize in building secure, scalable, and custom WordPress® solutions. This certification validates your ability to extend platform functionality using the WordPress® codebase, development best practices, and modern programming techniques. Ideal for those just starting their careers in front-end or full-stack development, the WCD helps candidates stand out in the competitive job market and succeed in entry-level freelance, agency, or corporate roles focused on WordPress® development. Individuals must have at least 150 hours of training and hands-on experience with WordPress® before taking the exam.
The exam consists of 40 questions and lasts 45 minutes.
Web Certified Administrator (WCA) for the WordPress® Platform

Web Page Builder Specialist (WPS) focused on WooCommerce® for WordPress®
This certification exam covers a wide range of topics related to setting up and customizing an online store using the WooCommerce® plugin. This exam tests your knowledge of WooCommerce® setup and customization, web store customization, product management, shipping solutions, payment processing, WordPress® backup and security, advanced settings, and order management. Your ability to manage and customize WooCommerce® settings, the payment process, store theme, and reports will be assessed. You will also need to demonstrate your proficiency in setting up and customizing the web store, including creating custom contact pages, privacy policy, and terms and conditions pages. In addition, you should have a strong understanding of product management, shipping, payments, invoices, discounts, and taxes. Finally, you will need to demonstrate your ability to manage, view, edit orders, and process payments, discounts, and returns. Individuals are required to have at least 150 hours of combined training and hands-on experience with WordPress® WooCommerce® usage prior to taking the exam.
